Default What's in the works for January?

What's on your crafting to-do list for January? I finally finished up a couple of lingering Christmas presents yesterday (a snuggie for my mom and a fleece fringe scarf for my niece) and so everything else on my list is just a "wish list" of what I'd like to get done, no real deadlines. I keep adding ideas to it, though.

snuggie for oldest DS
fleece pants for youngest DS
apron for me, and if it turns out, one for my best friend and her daughter
felt Mr. Potato head set
bibs!
keep going with Project 365
work on my scrapbooks!!
I-spy bag
beanbag letters

I would love some more ideas for my kiddos. My oldest turns 8 in Feb, the youngest will be 2 in March, and then the baby is due in April. All boys. No frilly pink lace at my house, lol!! Spam me with any ideas!

Default January's to do list (hopeful)

Ug, I have so much that I want to get done, this is what I'm going to try to get done. I prolly won't be able to squeeze it all in but it's a wish list. What I don't get done can just follow me to Febuary.

* make my DD's apron and matching chef hat for one of her birthday presents (I'm actually going to let her help me design it so it'll be exactly the way she wants it)
* I need to build myself a MC stash
* start on DD's stash for her young lady kit
* knit a hat and line with fleece for me (yarn is already dyed )
* knit a cowl and line with fleece for me (yarn is dyed and ready)
* some fleece soakers for DS (these aren't super high on my list, just a wish)
* replace the aplix with snaps on LO's 12 BG OS dipes
* make a knitting bag with matching needle roll and pouch
* make a jumpsuite for my LO (I might actually meet up with someone and we can start together)

That's prolly twice the stuff than I can actually get done but it'll get done eventually.

I need to get a set of pea pods done tonight and strawberries-crochet
Make a peelable apple and orange in the next couple days-crochet
Learn to use my new serger!
Make more egg cozies for easter-crochet
Make a new crochet pattern-thinking campfire roasting marshmellow set
Make up a peelable grapefruit pattern too.
And then crochet as much as I can and get them listed.

I need to make my dd an apron to go with the kitchen the kids got for Christmas, hem curtains, make curtains for the kids' rooms, etc. I have a long list, but not a ton of time on top of my shop orders. Although, I am more caught up now than ever thanks to Christmas! I busted my rear so I have a lot more free time to sew. I made Ava a dress today, in fact.

I'm going to try to finish a scrapbook I started last weekend. A woman whose son I used to take care of brought me a stack of pictures and an 8" x 8" s.b. album and asked me to put the picture in it.

I think this is the most difficult album I've worked on. The pictures are mostly of her niece from birth to now (age: mid-20's). But they were in no particular order and only a couple of them have the names, date, age or event written on them. In some of the pics there are other family members and friends.

So I sorted them as well as I could, starting from her baby pics up through this year. I usually like to do some journaling for each picture or each group of pictures. With this though, I'm just going to leave empty journaling blocks on most of the pages for her to fill in.

Her niece ships out to Iraq or Afghanistan some time soon, so I'd like to have it done before she goes. This is going to be a gift to her from her aunt.

I don't have huge plans.

I'd like to finish beading the hyacinth that I started in the summer.
Fix my Green Day T-shirt so that it actually fits.
If that turns out, I'll "shrink" my daughter's too-big Jack Skellington shirt that she both loves and hates. (loves because of the picture, hates because of the fit)
Decorate the canvas bag that I bought the other day. That one will be easy because I am just using a silver Sharpie on it and just have to make a stencil with paper. It's just a case of getting started - It'll probably only take half an hour to an hour.
Lose weight. Oh wait, that isn't a craft project.....
