Default Cheetah costume

I am planning to make a cheetah costume for Halloween this year. I have never been in a cheetah costume nor have I seen a cheetah costume in a store. I am thinking that if I get cheetah print fabric and an off-white fabric that I can make the body, legs, and tail. For the face I am planning to make a mask that looks like a cheetah face. Finding cheetah print will probably be the part that takes the longest to do since cheetah print is rarer than other animal prints.

My momma will be helping me with this.

Now a lot of people lie and say that a fabric is cheetah print when in fact it is leopard print. That is because other than the tear marks of the cheetah, cheetahs and leopards both look similar.

However I know that leopards have rosettes and cheetahs have simple spots.

I am not sure what to do for the golden eyes. Contact lenses are for improving eyesight and they could actually worsen my 20/18 eyesight. But I don't know of anything else that I can put on my eyes when I am wearing the costume so that my eyes are golden like a cheetah's eyes and still be able to see things.

That sounds such a fun idea.... maybe close your eye and paint the cats eye on your eyelid and when you close your eye it will look like you are staring with the cats eye

Somebody else thought that maybe I should use something see through for the eyes. Of course that would mean that I would have to use some kind of adhesive(preferably on the back of the mask where it isn't going to be seen).
