I have my sewing stuff scattered all over the house, and sew at the kitchen table. Not ideal, but doable. We almost bought a house with 5 bedrooms AND an office off of the detached garage where my dh would have telecommuted from. So there would have been master, ds's room, dd's room, a play room, and a craft room. Nice eh? It wasn't to be. The house needed the foundation and roof repaired and we were going to do it, were just a couple weeks from closing when I freaked out and wanted to back out! I was terrified that once they started doing repairs they'd find that the damage was more extensive than they thought and the 10k estimate would turn into like, 20k and we'd foreclose before we could even move in.

We have a huge bathroom- bigger than some peoples bedrooms, so I have my sewing machine in there on top of my old sewing machines table (it won't fit inside it) (no pics right now as I am far from home). My craft supplies are supposed to fit under the counter space that was made for a makeup area, but they are always spilling out from under the curtain. My serger lives in the bedroom armoire as the steam would mess it up, so I drag that in and out. not ideal but it's better than the kitchen table (which I do use at times when I need to work and the kids are up).

My Sewing Nook
Yes, that's all I have is a nook. about 1 corner in my bedroom! When my adult daughter moved back home, we needed the space, so, I got scrunched! Oh well, I've sewn in the kitchen, in the dining room, in the living room! All over the house in fact! But, my little nook is serving me quite okay for now! Someday (dream, dream!)

Ok - so first off - completely in awe of Chey's craft room. So nice.
I would love to have a room dedicated to just crafting, but, I managed to set up shop in my guest bedroom - only a pain when people come in town and I need to hide everything. But, I have a large desk and plenty of shelving - I use a dresser to store my fabric. I use the bed as my cutting area (or at least a planning area) and I have a table top ironing board which I place on there too.
Actually, I just spent the past few days trying to organize everything. I still had things in my desk from when I was working which had to go. Hopefully, my DH will set up a pegboard for me sometime soon. I've been asking for a few weeks now. I think it would be a big help.

Chey, I am sooooo jealous of your space!
I have a nook where I have my sewing table and a closet. I was ecstatic to have a closet when we bought the house and I marked my crafting territory, but it has come to house much more than it was originally intended for, so some things need to be moved to a new home. It is conveniently messy enough to keep unnoticed fabric purchases to remain unnoticed though...

I love everything about my sewing room. I drew out the plans and DH executed them to my exact specifications. I couldn't love it more. I love my sewing desk narrow so my bigger projects fall down the back, but I still have lots of room for kids clothing etc... and I LOVE my cutting table, it's 4'x6' and the height was set to fit me. I love not having to bend to cut fabric or find creative ways to organize my space. It's all there for me.

I have a little corner in my dining room. I'll try to post pictures tomorrow. I'm so jealous of everyone who has a designated area. I wish! My house has NO extra room.
Edited to add pictures:
The table fold up into itself and has an extension (the top the closes) but I don't have the room to keep that part up. I love it and found it on craigslist for $250 The 3 blue bins hold all my fabric, patterns, etc.
