What chould I make with...
What could I make with 1ish yards of flannel with little robots on it? I was making DS a flannel sleep sack, but I totally put in the wrong zipper and it won't be usable unless I take the whole zipper back out. But the thought of seam-ripping a 22" zipper makes me wilty. I barely have that much free time in 2 average days. Since I'd already cut the flannel up into 2 front panels, a back panel, lining, and arms, I need to make something with small-ish pieces. All I can think of is maybe baby pants but I'm not inspired by that plan.

If it were me I would simple just fix the zipper, I am not sure what else you could make. Good luck

Alas, I already have a ton of flannel wipes. (I cut up my daughter's old receiving blankets, so they're pink, but the baby is not picky. )
Mmmmph, maybe I'll just work on the zipper when I have time...

I agree that just tackleing the zipper would probably be best. I recently made a wonderful waterproof cover for the stroller. I ended up needing to rip out 2 24" open ended zippers, because I put them in upside down.

If you do not have a good seam ripper I'd suggest investing. I got a new in package large ergonomic seam ripper by Dritz shipped for $4 from eBay, they are only a few more $ at Joanns... and less if you have a 40-50% off coupon (they have those almost weekly)... anyway, I HATED seam ripping... no sane person loves it, but since I bought a 'real' seam ripper, I don't hesitate like I used to.

A seam ripper is one of my must have tools! Everytime I go into JoAnn's a buy a new one, not good to use a dull one. I probably rip out something every project I do.

not a mistake but an opportunity
Could you make a pillow out of it? Or cut the robots out to use for appliques? Fashion a diaper stacker out of it somehow?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who always has to redo a seam. Nothing drives me more nuts than having to re-do something I've already done once, though.
