I thought wal-mart was out of the fabric business? I mostly go to JoAnn's since it is about 5 minutes from my house and its pretty much my only local option. There is an outlet about 30 minutes from me, which, I will go to every once in a while. But, I'm more of a touchy, feely, can't make up my mind type of shopper. So, I haven't had much luck with online purchases - I end up sitting online for hours and never purchase anything.

I get all mine at Hobby lobby. They have a 40% off coupon almost every week so it makes it really cheap. Even when the fabric is on sale for like 20-30% off, you can have them price adjust it so that you can use your 40% off coupon instead. Sometimes I get mine at Jo-ann fabrics as well.

I dislike buying fabric on the internet because I like to see and feel what i'm getting.

I buy my wool and bamboo fabrics from Nature's Fabrics. I buy knits from The Fabric Fairy and often on FSOT (for sale or trade) forums on DiaperSwappers or TheBabyWearer.

In my area, one of the Walmart stores have closed the fabric section, but the other one hasn't. I think because there are a lot of Mennonite buyers around here, so maybe they decided they did enough business to keep it. Whatever the reason, I'm glad, because it means there's someplace to buy cheaper fabric! We don't have a Joanns, Hobby Lobby, or anything else like that.

Joann's, Hancock, online co-ops. I bought some plain colored knits online for Ragalan tees. Here's the store I bought it from: http://www.sewzannesfabrics.com The lady was really quick and I was very happy with the purchase
