Well it's only like 26" expected, so no big thing!! Yeah right!! People were out buying up all the groceries they could get, and unfortunately I waited until today to try and buy milk. Not a good idea because *SURPRISE* all the milk was GONE
That will teach me to procrastinate!

dang! Do they have the powdered stuff? You could mix it with the snow and then leave it outside to save on running the fridge
Why did you make the move from CA to MD?

I have a backup container of toddler formula for the little guy if we totally run out. We are on 1/2 gallon so I am trying to stretch it out!!
We moved b/c of the Air Force. We lived at Beale (near Sacramento) for 4 years, and we lived n Monterey for 2 years. SOOOO beautiful in Monterey! Beale was OK. It is right by Yuba City, kinda out there, but not bad.

well then can I just say thank you for your sacrifice. We lived in santa maria, CA which is about 20 min away from Vandenberg AFB and there were a lot of military families that I got to know and then had to watch move away. You are an amazingly strong group of women who can move from place to place with entire families in tote so your family can serve my country and I thank you soooo much for that.

Awww, thanks! ((BIG hug))
The moving is hard, Mostly because you make some really good friends and then you leave them/or they leave. But it was worth it. DH actually got medically retired this summer (well last summer I guess) and we will be leaving MD after he finishes school this May. I don't know that we will make it back to California yet though. Our family is in Illinois, and with the jobs lacking we probably will be going home for a while. One day we will be back though!

Ilinois is WORSE!! It gets wayyyy colder there, and they get lots more snow. Chicago is where we will be going. Great Pizza!!! But cold weather, lol
He is studying law. He knew that he probably would not be staying in the AF with his medical issues so he started going to school at night 2 years ago. It took a long time with the med board and stuff. Too bad that the economy went down right when he was finishing up. But we are trying to be optimistic
