that's what I was thinking. Bummer.

Well at least with the degree he'll have a better chance of finding work.

That is what we are hoping. And while we are home the family can hang out with the kids, We have had 2 babies while being away, and then of course the older 2 just keep getting older. So it will be nice for them to be able to be together. And did I mention the pizza?? YUMMMMMMY!!

awww... I can't imagine being so far away that my parents don't get to see my kids. We were contemplating moving to FL or SC before we made the move just up the coast. One of the biggest deterrents was that it would cost more than we had to be able to visit the parents, even just yearly, where as now we're only about 5hours away by car (it was only 2hr before the move).

It's a bit more than "wee" over here Last measure was almost 3 feet! And even with all that snow I still haven't made any crafts this weekend

ok, attempt #1 proved that the waistband is not working out quite right so I'll be putting in a drawstring. If you go to page 2 of the comments there's a post about altering the waistband but I can't read it. I also did a little bit of altering so I could use shirts with a print on them. I'll get pics posted when I can find the camera.

Thanks for the heads-up. I haven't tried it yet, but I think I've found a t-shirt that will do the job. I've been so busy with my SIL's baby shower that I'm not getting any fun crafts done. lol

ok, second attempt proved a bit on the small side. So I guess I have to read the instructions better. I used a size large mens for the first and they fit pretty nicely on my size 8-10 behind. The size med mens was like trying to put my 6 year old's leggings on... not so pretty.

the waistband is really low on the first that fits (think pumber ) so I'm gunna go out and get another shirt to make a waistband like in this t-shirt skirt tute: http://www.instructables.com/id/T-shirt-Skirt/

Cool tutorial. I'm just not sure if that would fit tight enough for it to stay on my waist. Then I'd end up with the same PC problem!! lol
