Default Cricut Rubber stamps

I was on you tube and a guy did a demo - I think he cut off the George cart. (mine did not come with that one). So I think it cuts whatever button you push.

Check out u tube to watch the demo.

Try cleaning the block with windex. Sometimes the oils on your fingers keep them from clinging right. If you're using cheap quality stamps, it's just a problem you'll deal with more and more. If you're using good quality stamps, it's probably just needing either cleaning or friction (rub it on your sleeve a couple of times before mounting).

Could someone explain the care and maintenence (easy please) for the clear stamps? How does it all work with the acrylic blocks and all? Ive only used the wooden rubber ones.
Staz-On cleaner leaves a very oily residue on your stamps, if not cleaned up very well. It is difficult for the side that mounts to your clear block to stay mounted, it will slide around. If you use Staz-On cleaner, be sure to wipe your blocks clean also.

Stampin' Up's Stampin' Scrub and Mist are the best for cleaning your stamp. Provided you are not using a solvent based ink. It really is not necessary to scrub hard.

Acrylic ones seem to show their wear a lot quicker than rubber stamps, even with cleaning. They seem to yellow quickly. The acrylic ones, you just stick it right onto an acrylic block and you're done. Makes it nice to only have to have a few blocks for tons of different stamps.

Recently started stamping, but was wondering if using plain ol' (rubbing) alcohol would be okay to clean the ink off of a stamp. I have other ink colors that I like to use on my stamps.
