Default Just another spoon

A special order. Someone saw my hollow spiral handled spoon and asked me to make a cooking spoon, similar to it. This one is closer to lookong like a piece of rope. Carved from cherry with mineral oil finish.

That's gorgeous. I've always wanted to try making a spoon but wasn't sure if I could do it. You've obviously got it mastered. Very nicely done.

I want wooden soup spoons so badly, every time we went to sushi at a certain place in WA they had wooden soup spoons and the hubby always loved them.

Doesn't take much. A couple of the right tools and a lot of practice.

I need to find a way to get one of your spoons. I just love them!

I haven't quite got the hang of eating spoons yet, but I'm getting there. The edges have to be a little different.
