Default Rustic Candle Holders and Rustic Horseshoe Crosses

I live in North Texas and I am a stay at home mom/crafter. My husband and I have started a home business and we are looking to make it a bigger business for me. I have a 7 year old daughter and I love being at home when she gets home from school. I feel that we have a great design on our candle holders and the rustic horseshoe crosses. I know that our prices are reasonable. I look forward to filing lots of orders and I look forward to finding more locations in my area to sell my craft.

Please see my blog for all items that we make and sell.

Those are beautiful. I love the candle holders! I don't think you'll have a hard time selling them. They look a lot nicer than a lot of other things I've seen in gift shops.

Default Just need a location!!!!!!!

I am so glad that you like them. I am hoping to find somewhere that I can sell them. I don't have a lot of money right now.. But I can't wait to get the word out and get this business off the ground....

I think that in my geographic location (GA) they would sell best in a western wear/boot store. Also I know that they'd do well at places that offer riding lessons and/or horse boarding...there are lots of places like that in metro Atlanta. You can probably google these type of businesses and any location you are interested in, and mail them
something like a catalog or the like. I used to work for several small
businesses (a scuba shop and a private pool) and they would buy things like this (related accessories) to sell in the shop to get impulse buys from clients/customers. Just remember they will have to sell the price for double what they buy from you, so they can make a profit, put it on sale, and not get eaten alive by credit card fees. A
good sales tactic when selling wholesale is to offer better prices with higher quantities. If you can comp something or add incentives the better. Just remember
all of that when figuring out you price. Best of luck to you! I think your
work is gorgoeus! [=

Default Are my prices too much or too little?

I kind of need some advice on pricing. I don't know if my prices are too high or too low... If someone can give me some suggestions that would be great.....

Also does anyone else have any ideas of designs... Like I said we are just getting started...

I look forward to everyone suggestions and feedback...

cute stuff. I'd have to say the biggest deterrent for me is that the star motif is not my thing.

I live in Texas so the Star Motiff is the "in" thing.. But I haven't found anything as of yet to put in the middle. I am still buying all of my horseshoes at Trades Days for full price. i don't know where to find my supplies for wholesale.. If anyone would love to share that with me I would love you forever...
