Default *** texas monster ***

Here is my work-in-progress called "Texas Monster", image size is 16 1/2" x 29" on Aspen wood. I put a soda can next to the picture to show some perspective on the size. Thanks, Chris - www.chriswolffstudios.com

Wow. That really turned out beautiful! Do you have other works to show?

Chris, with such beautiful work, you really need to put your work in your photo album here.

I see that you have a drop down tine on the left side of the picture On the antler Just in case some don't know what i am talking about Here is why that happen's Just in case most people don't know I know tho Nice picture

Bucks can develop drop tines particularly if there is damage to the antlers when in velvet. In other cases, antler oddities can be attributed to heredity or injury from a rival. It is also believed that a lack of minerals contributes to non-typical antler growth.

I noticed that drop down tine, too, but I didn't know what it was for. I've seen bucks like this and wondered why they were like that.

Thanks for the info.

It didn't even seem odd to me at all. Guess I just told on myself.

Course deer hunters here would be envious of the HUGE deer. My mother complains about deer eating her plants at her river place. We have deer here too. First time that happened the Boss (my husband) said, "And I can't even shoot at it!!!"

No firing of arms in our subdivision. We weren't use to THAT at all! Like I said, "I'm from the woods....the farm."

That woodburn is beautiful!! Truly, truly beautiful.

I think when I had my house I am going to get a few of these type of things and put them around the place.

Default finished ** TEXAS MONSTER **

Thanks, Here is the finished picture of Texas Monster, although I still need to make a frame. Within a few weeks laser reproductions will be available. Laser reproductions will be the same size as the original pyrography art at 16 1/2" x 29". Thanks again, Chris
