thanks! they ARE a lot of fun....
FRUSTRATING fun to build, but much more fun when done!
for gma2rjc, i'll give it a few more days before i send the rubber truck.

I'm working still on my newest wand case.
Imagine the wand case I already made with no handle and glass top and bottom.
Totally see through!
Please buckle your seatbelts and prepare yourselves for mind-numbing bafflement!
I'm attempting to have the wand 'rise' while being opened by using 'wing-shaped stands' crisscrossing each other as it opens and raising the wand. It should prove to be my masterpiece.....

OK, when I read the title of this thread I kept thinking of the kid in the 6th Sense. Am I the only one?

I love those swords!

DangerMouse, if you make a case with a glass top and bottom, that will be REALLY easy to get into!!!

A rubberband gun huh? I could use something like that, I gave up on firing rubberbands because I snap myself more often than not!!! My husband made a set of lamps sort of a little similar to yours. His are floor lamps with three shelves under the light. But the "shade" is similar . Very nice work.

I've never seen that movie, StampCrazy, so I don't get the reference. I doubt you are the only one though.

heck Angela, i've SEEN the movie and still don't remember anything like that in it!
but i'm ancient... maybe it's old age creeping in?
i cut the glass today for the new box. i used 3/16" thick so it's almost twice as thick as normal glass.
i only cut two fingers doing it too! woohoo!
actually, the title made ME think of the old trident gum commercials...

Mom: "Who wants gum?"
Kids: "I do! I do!"

You only cut two fingers, you had another project blow up on you.... I'm starting to think that maybe you are the one who needs the rubber room... for safety!

I'm sorry, I really shouldn't have said anything. If your really curious it's about 1:20 into this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZi3BmrUVrc

I have no idea why that stuck in my head . But when I saw "I do, I do" in the thread title and then saw a gun something clicked. I think I need help.
