Wow! Those are amazing!! I never thought of wood burning like that. Beautiful!! My son likes to work with wood and has done a little wood burning. I can't wait to show him your work. Very, very impressive

Peace,
Cindy

You can see some of my woodburnings, or prints from my woodburnings in my etsy shop. (I also have mixed media paintings in my shop, but it's pretty clear which are which). All of my tree's are pyrography pieces, most are mixed media, I usually add casein paint/graphite to my tree burnings (like the one in my avatar). www.thehauntedhollowtree.etsy.com

I love to chat about woodburning! Do you burn, what kind of work do you do?

Thanks. I sent you link to my husband. We currently have two library books on this very subject. He is interested in learning about it.

I don some woodburning, but I'm not even in the same league here.

These are my beginning pieces.

Default Hi it to started to burn

Hi,
I just started to wood burn. I did one on wood and am now doing one on a gourd. It is so much fun! My round ball pen melted. I had the heat at a level 3 and the pen was different brand then the burner but I did have the adapter. Hmmmm. Now I am wondering do I get new pens from Detail Master or a new burner from Razertip or if there is some one bestter out there.

I like your work! I hope to become skilled enough to do more detail work than I am now.

Has anyone tried Tioga Seed slices (I thik that is how you spell it). I saw some done on them on I think Sue Walters website and it looked nice.

Are you referring to tagua nut slices? I have just recently started messing with tagua nut slices. They are tricky to burn. Be warned, they burn fast.
