Default Adorable cupcakes

Our neighbours' twin daughters just had their second birthday party yesterday and they shared some cupcakes with us. The girls' Grandma made these. I thought that they were too cute to not post!

They're really cute, but please tell me that's not all made from frosting. I think I got a sugar high, just looking at them.

No, it wasn't all frosting! The head was a timbit (A Tim Horton's doughnut hole) and the tail was a marshmallow, cut diagonally, THEN covered in frosting! The eyes were mini chocolate chips and the beak and feet were some sort of jujube, or gummy-something.
My girls said that they were almost too cute to eat.

How long it took you to make them?

DoilyMania, I didn't make them. The neighbours shared them with us. Their twins turned two and their Grandmother made these adorable cupcakes for their party. Apparently she made a lot of them. I have no idea how long they would have taken her. I would imagine the most time consuming part would have been making all the little feet and beaks, but that could have been done ahead of time.

Ken, the girls said they were almost too cute to eat. I don't think they had a problem either. But I know that they took a picture first. Just like I did!

I had no problem eating mine either. I just made sure that I ate the tail first because I don't really care for marshmallows.

Those are adorable! They would be neat for an Easter get-together too.

Well, now that you've said what it was, I can see it. They really are cute.

It's amazing what you can come up with in the food category with just a little imagination.
