Default Baby shower cake

I just finished my DD's baby shower cake. I thought you might like to see the results. I hope my pictures loaded correctly.

The top of the cake blocks spells BABY, and around on the sides it spells DESTINEE. I also have some random numbers to fill in the blank sides.

Those are so clever and very cute! Thanks for posting the pics. How did you make each piece square?

I made 2 rectangular pans of cake. I cut them in around 4" squares and just double stacked. I was able to make 3 sets of squares with one rectangular pan. On the 2nd pan I only needed one set of squares, and that left about an 8" square left. I was able to make a single 8x8 pan to have as an extra. I didn't use the extra cake for any incidents, so I made a second cake. This one was simple and I used light pink icing, my baby took it home for herself.
