You are so funny

And a casserole is pretty much throwing everything together right?

We don't do casseroles that often. My family is not too fond of them. However, I did try a recipe for Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole recently. It wasn't bad.

gma2rjc, here is the recipe that I use for Tater Tot Casserole.

Tater tot casserole

ingredients:
1 to 1 1/2 pounds of Hamburger
1 onion
4 can cream of chicken soup
a bag of tater tots
2 cans green beans
grated cheese

I fry the hamburger with some chopped onion.
Drain it. Spread 1 can of cream of chicken soup in
a 9 X 13 inch pan, put the hamburger in and spread it
out. Then put 1 1/2 cans of cream of chicken soup on
top of the hamburger. Open the green beans and drain. Put the beans on top of the hamburger. Then place the tater tots in rolls to fill the pan. Spread the rest of the cream of chicken soup on top. (1 1/2 cans) Put some grated cheese on it and bake at 350 for 40 - 45 minutes.

Yes!. Hubby and I are so overweight we should not be any poster child. I have to admit my children loved most all my casserole's except turkey pot pie or chicken pot pie. I'm not sure why. They seemed to love all my other casserole's.

It is really so easy. Basically you slice up an onion and soak it in milk for a couple of min. Dredge the onions in some flour(I added salt and pepper to the flour). Fry them in oil until they are golden brown.

You will want to eat them like chips because they are sooo good.

Enjoy!

I just recently made Chicken Spaghetti. It's a Pioneer Woman recipe. It's chicken, spaghetti (though next time I'm using another type), cream of mushroom (or chicken) soup, onions, peas, cheddar cheese. It turned out good, and freezes well.

I'm new here, so I've been reading up on some of the threads getting lots of crafting ideas. And then I stumble into the cooking threads and I am finding lots of new recipes to try on my dh! We do love casseroles! Here's one of the latest ones we've tried.

Hamburger Casserole

1 pound ground beef
1 cup water
1 small can tomato paste
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 pkg. Sloppy Joe seasoning mix
1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni
1 large can whole kernel corn
1 small onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
salt and pepper to taste

Brown ground beef, add onion and green pepper. Pour off drippings.
Add the water, tomato paste, cheese and seasoning mix to the meat and let
simmer 15 - 20 minutes. Stirring occasionally.

In another pot, cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain well and then mix with the simmering beef mixture. Ass corn and stir well. Salt and pepper to taste.
