The subject that I am writing about is children's crafts. I also have some things there about free craft samples like where you can get samples of wall stickers, fabric swatches and things like that. I have information about local events like the summer Ann Arbor Art Fair, and summer and day camp information. My page is at

The website is hiring in most larger city areas and nearby areas to the city would be considered part of that larger city community. If you go to examiner.com you can type into the search and read about many subjects.
It is an interesting site that I just learned about in December from a college professor. If you are interested in writing about crafts in your area or another subject, you can visit the web page for your city and in the top right hand it may say looking for writers or something to that effect. At the bottom right you will see now hiring in whatever city you are looking at, click into it and subjects will come up that they are looking for someone to write about. In addition, you can actually suggest a topic if you want to write about something that is not offered. If you do decide that you are interested, please mention in your application that you were refereed by me. They offer an incentive for referrals that are hired.
