my first post

hello. I'm gremlin. I like to make all sorts of stuff. I'm not sure what all you consider as "crafts". I like to crochet, do counted cross stitch, plastic canvas, latch hook, etc. But I also like to create things. I've done several soap carvings. I have also "created" craft projects for kids to do. My latest little project was to create a reproduction of The Widow's Mite. It turned out pretty good. My sister will be using them for a hand-out for her Church class on Sunday.

I got involved in soap carving last year. I was helping a Cub Scout group at my church and they were learning how to carve. Soap is easier than wood when you are just learning. Most of the crafts I've created are either designed for the kids to do, or designed as handouts for lessons.
