Thanks for all the warm welcomes. I'm so excited tht this is such a strong community.

I think my first project is going to be these cool pants that my sis and I found fabric for in our local fabric district (LA).

Wore them to a party this weekend an everyone wanted them. The only problem is that I have to buy a serger first.

I'd recommend looking for a used serger! My mom just bought one for $70.00.. the lady never used it and it was only a year or 2 old. Check out craigslist and garage sales!!
