We're just not used to that much snow, didn't know what it was, didn't know what to do. usually we get an ice storm.
A pleasant day in the high 60's, folks walkin around in shirt sleeves, at night fall big flakes start falling, by midnight our van had become a wedding cake...Almost a Christmas card-100_1557.jpg
At end of next day, two feet of snow in my yard.
Entire generations of children had grown up without learning how to make a snowman, at least some tried. I think. I'm not sure what this is...Almost a Christmas card-100_1657.jpg
Some kids didn't understand the concept of snow at all, these kids didn't want their snow-woman to get cold. She looks a bit tipsy, one too many shots of hot toddy?

My kids would LOVE to be there now! They love snow and we didn't get hardly anything last year.

I'd probably worry about the cactus. Everything else looks like fun. Even the funky snowpersons.

He must be outside shoveling the snow and doesn't have time to answer yet.

Kenbo and I were talking about snow just yesterday. When we were kids, it was always at least knee deep (kids knees, but still....) now we have the tiniest dusting that doesn't even cover the grass.
My daughter is excited because boxing day is supposedly going to bring 10-15 centimetres of snow, but sad because she is working and won't be able to go out in it.
