we live VERY close to grand haven too. my husband is the photographer in our family and he took some really awesome pics of GH around christmas time. there was a really great sunset that weekend so they turned out really great. Your pictures are good, very clear!

Well, hi neighbor!

We like to go there once every winter or two. It seems like there's more of an ice build-up in February. That makes for good pictures too.

Love the pics! We live right next to Grand Haven

We were in Holland on Saturday for the ice sculpting contest and checked out the light house on Lake Michigan there.....we didn't see any ducks but there were a LOT of swans in the water...crazy birds must be half-frozen!

I didn't know about the ice sculpting contest. I'll have to watch for it next year.

One guy that was taking pictures there said he's never seen swans there in the winter.

Thanks. I love them too. Except for the one in Ludington, that we thought was only accessible by walking almost a mile down the beach (I'm not fond of walking in dry sand!). Found out later that there was an access road to it.
