Impressive pictures. I see a lot of gingerbread on those homes. Too many fences for my taste, but they are well manicured. I suppose they need the fences to keep people from messing with things.

The air appears to be very clear. Not like the city. Very nice.

Gloria, I'll trade places with you. I'd love to spend more time in Idaho & the surrounding states.

Plenty of green in Oregon. I think I'd like to be somewhere else, though. Geez, it's hot. 98 degrees today.

You're right, things are pretty dry out there, except near the rivers and lakes. But the dry air there sure is nice and the scenery is pretty.

Oregon is so beautiful. We were at a camp ground there and there was a maple tree behind the tent. I could not believe how HUGE the leaves were on it. They had to be 12" across. My nephew said it's because of all the rain.

Another thing I remember about being there is a guy asking me to get back in my car at the gas station. I got out to put gas in and found out that's a no-no in Oregon. It's been a while, so maybe that has changed.

Thanks Angela. I was thinking it wouldn't take long for you guys to get there from Toronto, but it looks like a pretty long drive. I doubt it would be worth it, unless there were other things to do along the way.

And I love the picket fences! I love the one with the Daylilly saying hello. Lots of beautiful plants, sailboats, kites....just really looked like a day to take the camera for sure! Too much beauty and I'm sure you missed alot! Really nice pictures Barb.
