Default November photo challenge

Hello Crafty Friends!
This is a forum wide challenge. This is just a casual challenge for fun (no official prizes, but it's fun to share our photography skills). We'll have a monthly photography challenge based around a theme. At the end of the month I'll choose someone who submitted a pic in July to choose the theme for August.

Submit your photos in this thread and feel free to share links to any other photos you might have on flickr, photobucket, etc. that we might want to look at.

If you'd like, please also list:
Location of photo
Date of photo
Type of Camera
Any special lenses, lights, etc.

The November Theme is:
drum roll please.....

NOVEMBER

I know, I know, you all are probably saying "November, that's a month! How can I take a picture of a month?!?"

So, November's birthstone is Topaz:
The word “Topaz” comes from the Sanskrit word meaning fire.
Name: topaz 01.jpg

Size: 59.3 KB

November's flower is chrysanthemum"
Name: mum 01.jpg
Views: 37
Size: 58.3 KB

November's zodiac signs are:
Scorpio (for the first half)
"The Scorpius was one of the earliest discovered constellations, believed to be known by the ancient Babylonians. The stars of this constellation look like a giant 'S' in the sky which is believed to be the back or the spine of a Scorpion. However, in Chinese culture, it is believed to be the back of a dragon." from Buzzle . com

and Sagittarius (for the second half)
Its name is Latin for the archer. It is commonly represented as a centaur drawing a bow.
Name: sagittarius 01.jpg
Views: 37
Size: 68.1 KB

Of course, there is also the "typical" November images - harvest time, autumn, the first storms of winter, etc. Unless you are in the Southern hemisphere, in which case I would expect to see spring flowers, new growth, baby animals, etc.

So, have fun!

Ready ...set...GO!!!
YOU MAY SUBMIT up to FIVE Photos.
Have fun!!!

So, what we're photographing is something that occurs in November or something related to November, right?

Yep. Just anything that has to do with the month of November. If it is a birthday or a wedding anniversary that happens to be in November, then that would count also.

So far I've been challenged in September, Octember, and Nowonder.
If I can get my brain to come back from where ever it went and it can find out where I lost my mind, the two of them should be able to figure out something that'll have every one wondering what the heck the connection is to November.

If they'd just start Early Voting earlier, I could vote more often.

Gloria!!! They did a great job on the cake. I think I'll post a photo of all of the ballots I fill out on Tuesday. Mr. John, I mean... notmrjohn, how many times do they let you vote in Texas? In Michigan they only let us vote once.... per day. Except for Nov. 6th, when the sky's the limit!

Vote early and vote often we all ways say, if your candidate loses, vote late and "find" the ballot box where it got left behind.
Still undecided who to vote for, maybe this will help;
