I was on a quest yesterday to get a good, pretty picture of my cat. While I was trying to take one, she decided it was time for a bath and I got these! I think they are great. All three are my "week 7" pictures.
I love how I can see the detail on her tongue here.
"Can you touch your nose with your tongue?? I CAN!!"
I just think this one is funny. It looks to me like she smells a bad smell!

I love my cat But I still need that "pretty" picture!

I love them!!!!!! I miss my cat, and dh is highly allergic to them, so I'm going to admire yours. They're all great pics, but that first one is cool!!

Thanks Katy. My cats won't bug your husband through the computer screen! We have three cats and a dog so I have a feeling that the next few sets of pictures will be me trying to get good shots of the rest of the animals. The dog will be the trickiest I think because I don't want the flash to wreck her pretty blue eyes. I'll be sure to post them here for you!

well, I got ONE new box done....
(see Battery Activated Riddle Box thread for details) and have two more in the works... does that count?
However, as soon as the weather breaks, my 'fun time' is over as I need to continue building this home.

Week 8
I only took one picture this week. It is the frog that my daughter placed in my spider plant then whispered to me that he was "infrognito".

Week 9
I'm still on a quest for good pictures of the animals. Here is the girls' scaredy-cat. He is a Maine Coon and is 18 pounds of solid muscle. He's terrified of the dog. We've had the dog for 7 years and he's been in our family for 10! Silly cat. Anyhow, the dog was in the recroom with Hubby so the cat decided he was going to come out of hiding and enjoy the patch of sunshine on the dining room floor and take a sniff of my camera.

and my cute sock pig, that you've probably already seen.

I asked for a new camera for my birthday. The one I want isn't available until mid-April, but I can wait. I'm so excited!

Wish I could pet that cat through the computer screen, lol!! Reminds me sooo much of my cat I had growing up -- Muffin. Different coloring, but just reminds me of her. And I still love the sock pig!!
I need to finish uploading my Feb pics and create a slideshow to post on my blog. Time...need more time...(don't we all!!).

Isn't he pretty? (I call him "ruggedly handsome" to his face because I don't want to give him a complex , but he is quite possibly the prettiest cat I've ever seen!) Too bad he is such a chicken. He spends most of his time hiding in my 16 year old's room. Guess who is allergic to cats? Yup. My 16 year old. *sigh* She's not allergic enough to want to get rid of him though. His name is Nibbles. When he was a kitten he would take a flying leap onto your feet and bite your toes. That is how he earned his name. He never bit hard. The kids thought it was hilarious. Of course now he's probably afraid of our toes...... It is a much better name than Pikachu, which was the other name she wanted to give him.
I peeked in at your blog the other day to see if you updated! I was about to complain when I read that you'll be updating at certain times (I can't remember them right now) I'm being patient. Or trying to!

Katy! You haven't posted your February pics and it is almost halfway through March now!
Here's my week 11 picture. Who knows I may take more, but this is the newest addition to our family. We gave our daughter a turtle for her birthday yesterday. She has been wanting one, actively, since the summer when we saw some in the pond nearby. She thought it was cute and really cool that it ate the popcorn that we were feeding to the ducks. She has named this little guy Popcorn. I want to tell you that his shell is about the size of a loonie, but that probably won't mean anything to you! lol. He's a bit bigger than a quarter. We are calling it "he", but really, we don't know the gender.
Popcorn, the red eared slider:

In this photo, he is still in the container that we brought him home in. He was patiently waiting for his habitat to be set up. He seems very happy in it (the habitat). I'll try to get a picture later. It needs cleaned already.......
