Oh, I forgot to call up there to ask about the stump. Hopefully tomorrow!
Well, today, since it's already tomorrow.

When it's winter rent out sleds and just push the neighbourhood kids down, you'll make a bundle
Great pictures, i love looking at these types of houses they remind me of good old fashioned strudy workmanship.

This link may explain what the plastic on the houses does.

I completely forgot to continue my quest for information on the stump. Maybe I'll contact the Parks Dept. in that county.

beautiful pictures. I have total historic home house envy. Don't you wish they would bury the power lines in these old neighboorhoods so you can get a better look at the houses?!?

Yes, that would be nice. With it being right on the lake, that would make sense with all the ice and snow they get too.

That makes sense, enjoy the patio even if it's cooler or raining... even if the plastic looks a bit tacky.
Did you ever find out about that weird stump?

No. But I THOUGHT about it the other day.... just before one of the babies filled his diaper.
I'll try to remember to call around tomorrow. I'm really curious about it.

Barb,
Did you ever find out about that weird stump?
I saw that a guest was looking at this thread and then I noticed you never did find out about the weird stump or answered it in this thread. So, do you know Barb?
