Default More rugs

Two more rugs finished. The first one is a rug made from a bunch of scraps that I had left over from many projects. The second one is my Scottish rug. The dark blue and white represent the flag of St Andrews, and the rest is various plaids that I found to use.

Cool! I hope you have places to put these! I really like the second one.

They are actually going to be offered for sale along with three others at my next show, which will be a Scottish Festival in April.

Those will sell, no problem! Nice work! I remember trying to make a braided rug years ago, and giving up when it started to take on the shape of a bowl instead of a flat rug... haha. Maybe I'll give it another go.

When it starts to roll, back up and add an extra chain stitch. On these rugs I usually add three extra stitches on each end. Also make sure you are using a larger hook. My hook is homemade and it's about an M or N in size.

Thanks for the comments.
