Default Need help with Scarf - crocheting

I'm crocheting a scarf and I'm supposed to use 4 strands of category 4 and 2 strands of category 3 yarn. Hook size Q.

Do I have to twist the yarn together onto a ball before starting the project?

Thank You, K

Hi Krystyna. Welcome to the Craft Forum. I moved this thread to the Crocheting Forum so more people who crochet will see it.

hey krystyna. You don't have to wind them together, but with that many skeins balls going you may want to. But if you have a way of keeping them from getting twisted together before they get on your hook then I wouldn't worry about combining them.

I started the scarf and you are right the yarn keeps twisting so the work goes little slower but it's comming along very nicely... I have to finish it by this weekend for my mom's b-day... I will post a picture when done.

Thanks,
K
