Default What do you like to crochet?

What type of stuff do you like to crochet? I donate some of my time to a group of ladies and we make all types of things to sell. I do mostly crocheting, plastic canvas and some sewing. I crochet afghans, scarves, hats, some amis and toys etc. Recently someone donated some sugar and cream so I am making some potholders. The profits realized from these sales are split among 3 charities.

I've only crocheted blankets & sweaters - would love to try a hat!

I have crocheted skirties pants and shorties for my DD and DS. I have also made hats, play food and toys. I mostly knit know though. But still turn to the hook everyonce in a while.

I don't have the patience for a blanket. When we were preparing for my daughter's birth I wanted her to have a handmade crochet blanket like the other two have. The only problem was that the other two were made by friends who weren't really around anymore. Instead of making one myself I commissioned someone else cause I knew I would get bored and never pick it up to finish it

I make blankets and hats mostly.... I am not very good at keeping a gauge, so I have a hard time making something that requires you to have two matching items. My first pair of baby shoes (and my last LOL!) were two completely different sizes! I try and use patterns with groups like shells, which keeps me on track without needing to count as much as well... I get to distracted with things going on and find myself spending as much time counting where I am as I do actually hooking, so that is what has worked the best for me.

Rugs, scarfs, socks, wash clothes, dish clothes, and doilies.

But, lately I am totally addicted to granny squares.

anything to go on my daughters head (hats, kerchiefs, headbands,..) and food for her kitchen.

I also do baby stuff but only when it is needed as a gift now.

I have tried blankets because there are some amazing ones out there but I just don't have the patience for it. If I can't see a product from all my work with in a week of hard work or a month of little work it is probably going to be put in the cabinet to never be seen again LOL

Oh... granny squares are nice They're really instant gratification which is nice when you are working on larger projects
