Welcome to the Craft of the Month Contest!

We thought it would be fun to pick one craft per month and do it together as a community. We hope you'll join in the fun!

Here's how it works:

1. Each month we will take craft ideas from the community and pick one for the contest. If your craft idea is chosen we will send you a $10 Amazon Gift Card as a thank you for your idea. 2. Once a craft idea is chosen we will post it in the Craft of the Month forum. Each contest will have instructions for how to complete the craft. We don't expect every craft submission to be a carbon copy of the original we encourage you to be creative but we do want you to be inspired by the concept.
3. Once you've completed the craft take a picture of it and post that picture in that months Craft of the Month contest thread. You will then be entered into a random drawling that will occur each month.

What can you win?

We will randomly draw one winner each month and that winner will receive a $50 Amazon.com gift card.

What about something for every catagory? I know that not everyone works with wood. or knits or sews. .. Just a idea..

We will try and rotate the types of crafts based on the submissions we get. But to start I think one per month is good.

What type of crafting do you have in mind? For example will one be "make a teddy bear" or will it be more like "take these items *insert name of specific items here* and make some thing with them." Either way, it sounds like it will be fun. Even if I won't be able to use the prize!
