I really like that pinokeeo. It looks like it takes a lot of time to make too.

These are the Valentine 'cards' I made for my grandkids. There are 8 pieces of white paper between the front and back covers for them to color on.

The pieces are cut out with the Sizzix "Heart #1" die. The white paper is just plain computer paper. I didn't use acid free paper because, to be honest, the kids aren't going to keep these forever.

This is the Sizzix machine and the Heart #1 die is to the right of it. The little plastic plate that you see over the heart on the machine embosses the image onto the heart when it's compressed. Each of the covers was embossed with a different image.

These are the pieces before they're put together.

All put together. They look pink in this picture, but they're red.

I stamped this on the first page and I'll write a personal note to each of them. I wish I had a rubber stamp that says something other than just 'Valentine Wishes'. Maybe I do, but I didn't feel like looking for it.

Very professional. I like the different textures on the hearts. Are those machines really spendy?

They used to be. But now they're pretty affordable. I want to say in the $50+ range? I'm not sure. But I do know that you can get them dirt cheap on Craigs list from time to time. I've seen them on there for $25 with a bunch of dies included. Now that so many people are getting Cricut machines, a lot of them aren't using their Sizzix anymore. I have a Cricut, but still like my Sizzix machines.

Do you have any of those little brass embossing plates? You can use those in a Sizzix machine too. Then you don't have to set them on a light box and trace the image.

I don't have anything like that. I do all my paper cutting with a pair of scissors. You can imagine how things come out. Definitely not neat and perfect like your hearts.
