Yes we did. June's theme was Father's Day and July is currently underway and the theme is Patriotic Crafts.

As for the spam you are getting, I know that the moderators remove it and ban the poster as soon as they can. I guess that they are only able to remove it from the forum though. If you've already been sent an email, I guess they can't do anything about that. I disabled the email notification ages ago. I was just getting too many emails!

Angela is right. When a member or a spammer posts in a thread, we get emails that a thread we're subscribed to has a new reply. Like she said, once the email notification has been sent out, we can't change it.

Sometimes, before you open that thread from your email, we've removed it already and sometimes we haven't had a chance.

If you see something that doesn't look right, click on the little red exclamation point on the bottom left corner of your screen. That's there for anyone to report spam, advertising messages, harassment, fighting or rude posts. A screen will come up and all you have to do is type in the word 'spam' or a brief message about what's going on.

The report will tell us the title of the thread and what forum it's in, so you don't really have to give any details, other than 'spam' or whatever the issue is.

We really appreciate it when someone reports a spam because it helps us keep the forum free from that crud, especially if it's a company selling x-rated stuff.

If you see that a spammer has posted in more than one thread, or started his/her own threads, you only need to report him one time. The report automatically tells us how many posts the spammer has and we can delete all of them at once. Then we ban him from the forum.

The one you got today is from 'wow gold'. They are relentless. They spam us and the diychatroom. And many other forums I would guess. We ban them every time, but they sign in under a different name with a different IP address and get us again. I don't know why they bother wasting their time or ours. Nobody would buy from them. I think their spam is computer generated or something like that.

Sometimes you'll open a thread from your email and there will be a little box telling you that there is no thread and it gives you an option to contact the administrator. When that happens, it just means that the spammer started his own thread and one of us has deleted it already, which means it doesn't exist anymore.

When you get an email saying, for example, 'efghij2448' has replied to a thread you are subscribed to and you go to that thread but you don't see a post by that member, it means that his spam has already been deleted, so it won't show up.

This is probably more than you wanted to know, huh? lol
