I decided to make a floral belt mainly because I needed an excuse to make more fabric flowers. it's so much fun! And i wanted a belt to go with the Spring Dress Im doing in my blog.

To make this belt I cut 2 strips of green fabric 2" by 44" pretty much the length of the fabric becuase I was scared it would be to short . Stitched them together with a 1/4" seam allowance ( for no real reason 5/8ths would have worked, but I think I'm still in knit fabric mode)



and then turned it inside out which was... interesting because my tried and true way of doing this failed so I had to be creative.



Yes those are Spongebob Squarepants Pajamas. After that I sewed on a buckle I found in my box. Built a fabric flower and stitched it on and Voilalala. Srping belt.

Okay, it was suggested that since my project for my niece has green in it, I should enter! Here it is: A diaper bag and 35 clutches, (done as 'favors') for my nieces' sisters baby shower!
