I made that red beaded hibiscus, I already had a red rose, but the rose had to be taken apart and reassembled because the petals were falling off, and I beaded a white daisy. Red and white are the Canadian colours so it is a patriotic arrangement.

I added a red and white bow as well. I didn't like the rocks that I had in the vase in the picture I posted of the hibiscus in the project showcase and was going to remove them and use some beach sand that I brought home from my Grandma's cottage, but I saw a jar of "black sand" that my daughter brought home for me when she went to Newfoundland with her grandparents a few years ago. I thought that the black would look better. I'm not really sure why it is called sand though because it is more like small fishtank gravel. I am pleased with the end result. The red and white makes it look Canadian, and the Newfoundland "black sand" helps to
make it Canadian.
I almost forgot to take progress pictures. I got a shot of the pieces of the daisy (which was made specifically for this challenge) ready to be
assembled. I hope this is good enough.
....and my "helper"
*sigh*
I am pleased that I was able to create something after all.
