Default From grey to white

Hi everybody,

I have this wristband made out of elastic rubber (I think polycarbonate to be specific):

Now I would like to make it completely white! (I'm not racist haha)

It would be absolutely great if there is a way to turn it white, without the color being easily washed or crumbled off.

Do you have any suggestions?

Krylon makes a paint that is specifically for plastics. Not sure if it would stay flexible enough not to flake off, but if you did a very thin layer of the spray paint, it might work.

Krylon Fusion

I have found it at WalMart, Home Depot, and Ace Hardware. I'm sure it is available just about anywhere spray paint is sold.

Thanks, that seems to be a great idea!
But this stuff seems to be hard to come by in Germany. Maybe I'll find it somewhere.

Now I found something called Plasti Dip.
Could that be a solution if I cant find Krylon?

I'm not familiar with Plasti Dip, so I googled it. It looks like it may be an option. I would go with a fairly thin coat.

Anything that is rubber based should work. I like the idea of painting items like this but I would imagine it can be a pain too.

Spray paint may be a good idea in your case, I beliave
Had similar case when was painting part of my car (not in white but in black color)

And it looks good after a year.

Few photos, by the way
