Default I painted a Monet!

I love art. In January I decided to join in on a watercolor challenge. We were asked to "Recreate a Monet Oil Painting in Watercolor" I chose WOMAN WITH A PARASOL TURNED TO THE RIGHT. Monet painted it in 1886, when he was nearly blind. Here is my finished entry and I am so happy with how it turned out. Hope you enjoy looking at it.

Very nice work. Lot of detail for a watercolor.

wow, I've seen the real painting in Paris a few years ago and I was so impressed by Monet's use of colors and shapes. Maybe you should give the water lilies a try!
