Speed up oil paint drying

Is there a conventional way to speed up the drying time of an oil painting? Oil is my favorite medium to use, but hate waiting for it to dry.

Oil paint is a pain! I've used it once. It looks so nice when it does eventually dry, so I love it for that, but yeah, it's horrible having to wait for it to dry. I don't think there's anyway to make it dry faster, sorry. But don't just not use it for that reason, cause it really is pretty.

well, not that I know really but it'd probably help if it was in a warm dry area...

I've talked with a lot of people that have used oil paints and they say that it takes nearly forever to dry (and even when it's dry they swear it's still wet... some even joke that if you scratched the surface of some of the old master's oil paintings you'd find that under the seemingly dry top layer it's still wet underneath

News flash! Recently stolen painting "The Scream" has been recovered as well as x-rays it seems the thieves had taken of the painting. Underneath, you see the reason for the screaming. Yes folks, it was dogs playing poker....

There is a medium called liquin that you can use, it speeds up the drying a bit. Also, a good old fashion hair drying

When I used to do paintings in oil (and I did many) I never found a way to dry the paint faster. It would stay wet for quite some time (months) especially if I applied it with a pallet knife. I just accepted it as "nature of the beast" sort of thing and never really worried about it. No rush, it will dry with time.
