I like this. It reminds me of something but I can't put my finger on what it is. Be sure to post when it is finished.

Thanks Ken! Wonder what it reminds you of?

I've not touched it in several weeks now. School is starting and I've been working on the school laptop for the last 3 weekends. It's off my working table and it was suppose to be something I was going to hang in my office at work.

Welcome to the site Ken! Glad you are popping in from time to time.

Shouldn't you be working on the school laptop at school, during work hours when you are getting paid to do it? Finishing this is important!!!
I want to see it.
I hope you get the time real soon.

I'd love to finish my work at school during work hours! However, everyone is taking turns going on vacation. Last week was the secretary at the front desk. Yep, when he is out, I usually take his place....so much of my work doesn't get done if I'm doing his and mine.

Oh, it will be good again soon.....sometime in September.

It's almost like starting all over with TOM, but here are some pics I took before disabling it.

Since viewing Valarium's steampunk jewelry, I have been given a renewed inspiration! Thanks Joseph.

TOM is back! It's looking great Tracy. I love the collection with the watch, hair clip, spectacles, etc.

Did you add fabric to the woman's dress? That looks cool.

I also like how you added the bows to the woman's hat and dress.

Thanks for the pic!

TOM is back!

Yes Barb, that is a fabric dress on a paper doll. I used the glue gun. This is all new to me, but I want my items to stick.

Items I want to add are:

--an Wright Brothers plane
--hot air balloons
--old keys
--vintage stickers I have on hand

I don't want to go overboard, but I want the feel to be time that has passed without hitting too modern. Like keeping it older than the 1920s anyway. I'll do the Swinging Years another time!

I might have to get rid of the ladies and concentrate more on the eras.

If you go to a craft store you might be able to find some old-style keys in the scrapbooking area. They're sold by Tim Holtz and I think there are 7 in a package. Although, since you live near some antique stores, you could probably find much nicer, real keys there, and cheaper.

I have some antique keys that I could share. I have been saving keys for a few years, in the hope of doing something with them, but haven't had the time yet.

Maybe I'll send you one with your ornament.

Thank you Keeo! I had some...somewhere! Now, I've missplaced them.
