Btw, I think I'm going with the styrofoam balls for the balloon part since I have them on hand. If I want them to be able to stand up, I need some kind of balance to them. Not sure how I'm going to make them stand. Some kind of stable wire, maybe?

I spent an hour getting my material out. Which will only make two I'm guessing. It's a start. I just thought of my empty thread spools as the basket. Ugh. I'm stuck on those two things!

I'm so laughing at this. Because the Boss thought it strange that I'm wanting to saw a thread spool down and I came up with teacups as the basket!

Now I just need to figure out how I'm going to get this to work. I feel like this project will be like Dick Van Dyke in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang collides with Alice In Wonderland!

I was just going to suggest cutting the spools in half for the baskets. I'm glad you got there on your own. You are definitely going to have an interesting project.

If you have brass wire, you might want to try that if you want them to stand up. I have no idea how you're going to attach the balloon to the wire, though. I have to ponder that one.

I might have to go with the spools. I'm also still pondering. In the mean while I'll work on the balloon part.
