Default glass bottles

I make home made wine,I'm always being given bottles, some work some don't so I'm trying to make use of the ones I wont use for wine. I have not completed this project so I will just chatter on about what I have done so far, hope that's ok. Crown royal bottle, washed out. I found some crinkly see through material in my stash,it seems to be made up of glittery thread, its very pretty, reminds me of what a mermaid should look like if you stitched one. I had a square of it which looked about the right size to cover the bottle so I cut a small hole in the middle of the material and slipped it over the neck of the bottle. Using modpodge I spread a thin layer on the glass then another thin layer over the material, clipped the excess material away and let it dry over night. The arch in the front and back of the bottle where the Crown royal label went needed some thing so I went with a sketch, just an outline so far of a dragonfly.I used watercolour paint to shade it in ,bit of a problem with bleed through but it cleaned right up with a Qtip. The second picture is of some lace I painted which I will modpodge to the sides. I plan on finishing off the little painting by putting some more detail to the dragonfly and adding some small beads here and there. I haven't made up my mind as to just what to do for the top of the bottle, ideas would be nice. Almost forgot, I did spray the lace with fixative so when I modpoge it, it wont bleed.

That would look so cool as a night light - maybe with some led christmas lights inside?

I never thought about what to do with it,now you have me thinking,is it going to be a dust collector or a gift.

I have a lot of those! I have to think "what will I do with this?" or at least "where will I put this?" before I make anything now!

I finished the bottle ,I have not glued the top part to the glass,I'm not sure it looks right but after searching through all my junk that's all I could come up with.
