Default Nettie dolls

I made these dolls this weekend. They are Nettie Dolls. The story is here.

June Crafting Thread

The first one is the original size.

The second one I made a little bigger.

And both together, so you can see the size difference.

They are made with rug rags. The only sewing I did was to stitch on the hats. The rest is put together with string.

Those are very cool Pinokeeo!
I'm impressed by your mad hat-sewing skills!

Thanks. I was pretty impressed myself. It only took me three tries to thread the needle, and I almost gave up at trying to tie a knot in the thread.

It actually wasn't too bad. I'm glad I decided to make them. They were really fun to put together.

Love the Nettie Dolls and the story Keeo. So, your grandkids have made their way to your house for another summer, have they? I'm sure you have been busy having fun.

Thanks, everyone.

Yeah, the grandkids are here again. We have been very busy. Today we played with perler beads, and I was totally surprised because they didn't spill them everywhere. And they made some really cute things. As soon as I get to it, I'll post some pics of their projects.
