Default Clear rubber stamp turned yellow

I was re-organizing my clear rubber stamps last night and found one background stamp that's turned yellow. It was on the same page as other stamps that are as clear as the day I bought them.

What caused it to turn yellow?

Good answers DM.

It can't be D, but maybe one of the others.

Oops, except for E. Since D is out.

It's weird though, because it's only a few years old. Probably made with cheaper materials or something.

Nestor would probably know.

I think it has to do with the type of material it is made out of. I've had some turn yellow too....I've noticed now on some stamps they say "non-yellowing" on the packaging....I think it was The Paper Studio or something like that, that I've had issues with ~ never had a problem with CTMH, TAG or any like that.
