Default Cricut anyone?

Edit note: The original 1st post for this thread was a spam. It's been deleted, but the rest of the thread is great, so we'll keep it. Here is part of the original post, minus the spam:

I loveeee my cricut! It is awesome!
the Cricut is the best thing i have bought! love it!!
Wow! Everyone that has one says the same thing! I've been watching my neighbor's two sons before the bus comes 2x a week and did it once in a while last year. I don't charge her, because they're such great kids and no trouble at all.

One day she surprised me with a Cricut machine. She bought the more advanced one and gave me the one she had. I was so excited. But, it's been so crazy around here since then, that I haven't had time to try it.

You've inspired me to plug it in and use it.

Thanks!

What do you like the most about it and which cartridges do you have?

Barb

My sister gets the cartridges on ebay pretty cheap. I'll have to tell her to check Wal-Mart online.

Does QVC or HSN sell the machine once in a while? They used to have pretty good deals on scrapbooking stuff and they added things to the package you couldn't buy in the stores. Maybe it was an infomercial I saw.

Ebay might be a good place to find one.

hi,

go to the cricut website and order the great colors in the adhesive and start sticking away. monogram drink bottles, make diaper tags with clear laminate over your work to write messages with the erasable markers...make sayings on your wall, your car, quit buying when you can do it yourself.... look at the monogram fonts. dont forget to create with the use of a laminating machine and laminating paper..... cg

Default more about cricut

ooohhhh forgot... buy round metal rings, and a puncher to tag things....such as a childs info....but be smart about what can be seen. or just put a happy message on your childs tote...u know the erasable pen on the laminate paper that is something you amazingly thought of...and a friend of mine takes frames and puts the slick white erasable marker paper in the frame... takes the cricut vineyl and maybe places a heart on the corner and puts in it in a room and writes the person sweet messages and checks back to see if there is one in reply.... fun to use as reminders in the kitchen also

LOVE mine!!! I made a sort of mother/daughter journal for my DD and me. I used my cricut to decorate the front of it and my Xyron machine to adhere the stuff to it. I'm wanting to try the vinyl and put a few sayings on my wall, but haven't tried it yet.

I've heard that it's a lot of fun to use!! I have it on my neverending wish list, lol. One of these days... A girl that works with my mom has one and keeps saying I need to come over and try it out, but we just never seem to find the time.

I love my cricut! I use it all the time at home. Right now I have been using it to cut designs on freezer paper and paint t-shirts. I am a teacher so I also use it for things in my classroom like bulletin boards. It saves me a ton of $$$.
