I love mine too! In fact after one month of the regular cricut I HAD to upgrade to expressions!
I STILL have yet to get it to cut fabric which is what I REALLY want it to do..Ive tried every tutorial I could find so if anyone has done it successfully, please share!

I prob could have done without it, but the fabric is what pulled me in! But Im very excited about the stamping cart that is coming out, where you can create your OWN stamps!! Oh I cant wait!

Stamping cart? Is that made for the Cricut or is it something separate?

My sister sews and has a Cricut Expression, I'll ask her if she's tried cutting fabric with it.

Its a new cart coming out soon I know I saw it at www.ohmycrafts.com (my fave place to go broke!)

I think they will be like the clear stamps you remove from acrylic mounting plates? So not so much wooden rubber stamps. BUt yup for 'rubber stamping' purposes! With the surecuts a lot and design studio you could create soem AWESOME unique stamps! I cant wait!

Yep ohmycrafts.com is the best place to buy cartridges. 80% of mine are from them.

Does anyone know the difference between the smaller cricut and the expression? I can't seem to figure out what the expression does more than the smaller versions. Does the smaller one cut fabric too?

BOth are supposed to cut fabric (Im still on a mission to do that!) The expressions mats are 12x12 and the smaller one is 6x12..thats the main reason i moved up plus the exp has some more functions like 'mirror' and flip.
Im selling a small cricut if anyone wants

Here's a link from one of the blogs I read that helps differentiate between the different cricuts. http://joyslife.com/cricut-faqs/

Personally, I went with the expression from the start. Everyone I know of that started with the smaller one, eventually moved up so I figured I'd cut out the extra money and just get the bigger one from the beginning. It also offers more functions and can cut up to 12 x 24. Some cartridges will give you more options if you have the expression since you have that additional size to work with.

The Cricut is awesome.

I have never paid more than $30 for a cartridge. I get them from places like www.ohmycrafts.com, ebay, and other online retail stores that have great prices. I am a member at the cricut forums and they gals over there are always posting the bargain place.

I have the cricut expression, the gypsy, SCAL and DS.
