Default The Gypsy

My neighbor works at a craft store and was telling me about the new gadget from Provo Craft that works with the Cricut. It's called the 'Gypsy'. Has anyone else heard of it or tried it at a demonstration?

I'm just curious if you think it's worth the price they're asking (when it goes on the market).

Default Gypsy

I just heard reference to it today and was wondering what it was.

I have one! If you have any questions --- I can try to answer them for you. Its a neat tool! I just used it today to weld words together and cut out for a bulletin board for my SIL's nursing program!

Its pretty easy to get the hang of it if you watch a few tutorials on youtube or something like that.

I have one too I love my Gypsy!!! It was a bit difficult to get use to at first but once you get the hang of it...Whoo hoo!!!

One con of having it...I will say is that it shows you all of the carts offered by PC and by seeing them...I so want them all. Hmmm, thinking abt that now I don't know if that would be a con or a pro??? haha!

I also have a gypsy. Have used it for a couple of projects so far. Still learning, and would love to find links to tutorials, since I still don't know what some of the icons are for!

Does anyone know of a site/forum/group that shares their gypsy/CDS designs? I'm in need an old style handgun for a surprise scrapbook for my grandmother's 80th bday. This one old pic is of two kids - they're huddled up in the dirt. It looks like they're shooting dice, but one of the kids has a gun in their hand. lol. I thought it'd be cute to scrap with the title "Shooting Dice" w/"?" all over. I have the dice on my Indie cartridge, but the only gun I can find is the sniper rifle on the Stand & Salute cartridge.

My neighbor does the Gypsy demonstrations at our local Michael's store. I'll ask her if she has an answer for you.
