Default scrapbook bargains

Since most people like to bargain shop, I'm curious about where others find the best bargains on scrapbooking and rubberstamping stuff.

The best bargains I found were at a scrapbooking show in Sandy, Utah. I've only been able to go a couple times, but the deals were great. Locally, I find some good deals from other crafters on Craigslist once in a while.

Where have you found your best bargains?

We had a stampbooking store go out of business around here and I got some great stuff. Otherwise I just keep my eyes open for sales.

It seems like scrapbooking stores don't stay in business very long. We've had several in this area go out of business too over the past 10 years.

The one that has stayed open, Pages In Time, is huge. They started out very small and moved a couple of times into larger buildings.

Then they built two huge stores. But now they've moved out of one of them into a much smaller store. I hope they stay open.

They have a lot of stuff that Hobby Lobby, Michael's and Jo-Ann's don't have.

But Ebay can outdo all of them combined.

Unfortunately, if you run out of something when you're in the middle of making a card or a page (a.k.a. a scrapbooking emergency) you can't just drive over to Ebay and pick it up.

Default hello everyone

I have seen some fantastic scrapbooking supplies at the discount and dollar store around my parts just recently. Sadly, it is most likely because they are snagging all the inventory of the closing stores. I know its been a couple of months since the last post here but just keep that in mind. I have seen some fantastic finds at the discount stores around my area:Ocean State Job lot, building 19 and dollar tree

good luck

I don't even think we have a scrapbooking store around here. Usually have to get my things from Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Walmart or the dollar tree

Try googling 'scrapbook stores, Acworth, GA' and a list will come up for your area.

The stores you mentioned have just about the same things anyway. Over the past few years, their s.b. selections have really grown.

Just make sure that all paper and stickers are acid and lignin free.
