we have this really great craft store where I live called "the outlet" and they have TONS of stuff dirt cheap. I got scrapbook albums there for $10 each(i'm talking really nice leather bound albums!) sheets of stickers for .20 cents paper for .5 cents and the list goes on and on... lol the only bad thing is they are only open certain days of the week and only for like 5 hours at a time so you really have to PLAN to go there or you will miss it.

Big Lots sometimes has great deals...a year or so ago I was able to stock up on Xyron refills for $1 each. I also hunt for yard sales that list craft supplies in their ads, as well as local scrapbooking/stamping stores that have an annual 'garage sale' open for anyone to rent tables. Have gotten some great stuff cheap at those sales.

I have been lucky enough to visit the USA (last year) and managed to get some great bargains from the Dollar Tree. In the UK the best bargains are usually either at craft shows or by searching online and ebay can be great. Amazon does not seem to be very good for scrapbooking over here. I am thinking of ordering from the USA in the future as long as I can try and avoid import tax etc.

TJsmommy, do you have the phone number for that store or know the hours they're open? Is it in Holland or Grand Haven? It sounds like a neat store.

Did you know there is a scrapbooking or rubber stamping show in Grand Rapids in February?

Ahhh ~ you are by me! We have a PIT in Jenison and on Plainfield in GR.
I tend to shop Michaels and Hobby Lobby if I have a 40% off coupon, although Hob Lob usually has some stellar 40-50% off sales that I like (adhesive, brads, paper)....I also like to look around online for sales...a lot of time the shipping will cancel out the "sale" though, so that can be a bummer.

ETA: I like to shop at this site: http://www.scrappingstamping.com/ a lot of times her prices will be better than others, plus she is in MI, so I like to give her business
I'm not far from the Pages in Time on Plainfield. Why did the Jenison store move into the smaller part of that building?

Thanks for the link!

The store is actually in Grand rapids. Its off of hall on college ave. Its kind of in a bad locataion so it doesn't get much advertisment. but its a cute little store. I haven't been there in several months since I live about 20 North of GR now, so i have to wait till i have an excuse to be in GR.

here's the address and phone number though

I find great deals at Hobby Lobby and Michaels and Archivers in their clearance sections. I shop quite a bit so I find deals quite often.

The Michael's store I go to has a decent size clearance section, but the prices aren't marked down very much. Everything else about the store is nice though.
