I like those too. For some stuff I started buying the Scotch double-sided tape at Sam's Club. There are either 6 rolls in a package for $8(?).

When I started scrapbooking in 1998, I used some kind of glue on all my pages and pictures. After a couple years, the glue dried up and the pages started falling apart.

Writing things in a notebook is a smart idea. I have so many pics of my grandkids that I don't remember the details of.

I have lots of hobbies and scrapping is one of them. I started with stampin up products I like their stamps and other stuff like markers, colored pencils, colored and printed papers, etc. I like to make cards mostly. Right now I am working on memory journal/books for my kids.

Yay! Another scrapper and stamper!

I hope you'll post a picture of the books when they're done.

I'm getting ready to start figuring out the design of my Christmas cards.

Do you have a Michael's store near you? Right now they have a lot of small $1 packages of Christmas stamps. They're clear and unmounted.

I love Stampin' Up products too. I like how they have ink, markers, etc. to match the colors of their paper. It's especially nice for someone just starting out.

Hi Barb, Yes we do have a Michael's store. I like to get stuff there when I need stuff fast & when they have great deals. I do have some of those stamps from there but haven't used them yet. I use my Stampin up stamps a lot. My children are having a Halloween party this week so I made all their invites with the hedge hog Halloween stamps. They are retired but I love those hedge hogs LOL. I am going to start planning my Christmas cards. I ran into some health issues and had to have surgery so that got in the way. But I am starting to feel much better and can get on with the crafting I will make sure to post some pictures soon so you can see the books.

I'm glad you're feeling better. It must have been hard taking care of the kids while recovering from surgery.

The hedge hog stamps are very cute. S.U. has a lot of nice stuff.

Suz...I don't want to get all mushy but the memories of MAKING whatever you end up making WITH them would be awesome.....make sure someone takes pictures of ANYTHING you do with them and put them in with whatever you made...heres a picture of something my 2 yr old grandaughter made for my Mom (her GREATgrandma) for christmas last yr..
