I'm sorry! I was stalling about getting you the book names because I knew that you were getting a bear.....

Then I forgot.

My favourite is called "Learn Bearmaking" and it is by Judi Maddigan.
I learned a lot from that book, but I would guess that you already know most of that stuff.

The other one I have is "How to Make and Sell Quality Teddy bears" here is a link to what it looks like. http://www.amazon.ca/Make-Sell-Quali...2993636&sr=1-2
It is the Canadian version of Amazon, but you can see the cover. I made the smaller bear on the cover and was never happy with it. I don't think I've opened the book since.

I have no idea if that is helpful to you in the slightest.....

My daily project was completed on January 25, 2012, but you can still visit my blog The Daily Turtle if you would like to see my adventures making or photographing a turtle every day for a year.

This book has a lot of really great patterns and CUTE little friends.. I haven't had a ton of time to try to much, but did make the felt house for my friend's dd's birthday. Many of the items are on my to-do list!

If you google "free jointed animal patterns" you will find lots of links and I'm sure you will find what you are looking for.
