Default I'm so excited!

I just ordered this serger:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...lance&n=284507

I've never owned one before so I'm bursting with excitement. It will be here by Friday! Yay!

Well I did some research before making my decision and it appears as though that one was the absolute best for the price range, and it seems as though you two agree!!!

Absolutely! It was one of the more affordable models out there and all the reviews seemed to be good. That is why I got it! You will have to let us know what you think after you get it and play. The only thing that I don't like about it is threading it. Mine gets very temperamental on me sometimes , but otherwise it is my BFF, LOL

Well I just finally sat down and started messing with it for a few minutes since my son woke up (as always!). I managed to thread it for the first time by the light of the TV while watching a youtube video on how to do it lol. It was simpler than I thought it would be!

Then I serged my first piece of scrap fabric and it went off without a hitch! I love it already! I will have to play with it a lot more later today after I squeeze in about 5 hours of sleep now lol.

And also I have to figure out what's wrong with my sewing machine...of course now it starts to act up! The needle thread keeps popping out while I'm sewing and I have to re-thread it constantly. I've messed with the tensions, re-threaded everything included the bobbin over and over and I'm about to smash the thing to bits and pieces. Any ideas?

Congratulations! I don't have a serger, but think I would eventually like one. Make sure to report back on all the wonderful things you get to do with it!
