I am glad to hear that your friend loved it.
Though he may not be just a floating head much longer... I've found some cheap bodies I can get for him... plus cheaper still (maybe) a temp body... it's one that the person that got it tried to do some modification to it and ended up just kinda trashing it... the person's yet to get back to me with the pictures I requested so I'm not sure if I'll be able to get it.
(was a female body that they tried to flatten the chest on and ended up cutting too much away :icon_eek: then they sold it to another person who wanted to use it for practice at dying and the person found out they fail when it comes to dying so now it's a brown splotchy mess with holes in it's chest...)
If I get it...
I intend to use it as my boy's temp body (fully clothed to hid all of the damage) until I can get the dye and proper scupty stuff I need to fix it... My intent is to strip the bad dye job, make it once more into a female, then re-dye it purple, blush and paint until it's striped so that it's similar coloring to the Cherise cat, then sculpt a cat's head from my air dry clay,
use that to make a mold so that when I get it I can cast a proper resin head (until I make the resin head the sculpty head along with a metal washer or two to keep it from breaking under the tension, will be used as the bodies temp head)
though the dying and the blushing sound like so much fun if I don't get the trashed body that needs work then I'll just find a really cheap one... and if I do it well enough I may be able to resell it for more then I paid
that is providing I'd even be willing to do so... knowing myself I'd probably have to do two identical ones so that even though I'd get attached to my work and would want to keep at least one I'd still have a second one that I may be able to allow myself to part will...
Seriously though it'll be totally awesome when it's done... though it'll take a loooooooooonnnnnnng time to make
